Senior SEO Executive

Job Purpose

The Senior SEO Executive will drive and implement end-to-end SEO strategies to enhance organic visibility and website performance.

  • Responsible for keyword research, on-page and off-page optimization, technical audits, and performance reporting.
  • Collaborates closely with content, technical, and client teams to align SEO initiatives with business goals.

Role Responsibilities & Deliverables:


1. Functional

  • Ensure team adherence to brand guidelines and positioning to create high-quality content that effectively communicates the brand's message and identity
  • Take a hands-on approach by actively creating compelling social media, SEO, website, and blog content, scripts, and storyboards
  • Attend campaign briefings by the Account Management team, decode the requirements, and infuse creative insights and strategic elements into the brief
  • Decode brand guidelines and positioning to create high-quality content to effectively communicate the brand's message and identity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and conceptualize weekly/monthly content, pitches, and campaigns
  • Supervise aesthetic checks and edits during pre-production, production, and attend shoots and music recordings
  • Quality check the content created by juniors and provide feedback and direction
  • Attain the desired creative output by comprehending and implementing feedback effectively
  • Review and add creative direction to presentations for client & internal meetings
  • Act as the first POC for creative solutions and escalations
  • Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-potential keywords for website optimization
  • Build comprehensive lists of targeted keywords aligned with business goals
  • Conduct analysis of existing meta tags and implement optimizations for improved search engine visibility
  • Write or rewrite meta tags to enhance click-through rates and search rankings
  • Run technical audits to identify and address issues affecting website performance with the technical team to implement necessary fixes
  • Assist in optimizing blog content for SEO purposes, ensuring alignment with keyword strategies
  • Work closely with the content team to integrate SEO best practices into new and existing blog content
  • Create off-page submission content for social bookmarking, classifieds, directories, and local directories
  • Execute submission processes to enhance backlink profiles and increase online presence
  • Implement best practices for link building to improve website authority
  • Proactively seek and secure high-quality inbound links from relevant sources
  • Utilize experience with WordPress and e-commerce platforms for effective SEO implementation
  • Ensure SEO strategies are tailored to the specific needs of WordPress and e-commerce websites
  • Compile and generate monthly reports detailing key performance indicators, including traffic metrics, keyword rankings, and backlink profiles

2. Research & Ideas

  • Competitive and industry analysis to identify trends, SEO best practices, and technology and explore opportunities for experimentation
  • Research on cutting-edge technology to inspire innovative breakthroughs

3. Communication:

  • Maintaining regular and clear internal communication
  • Promptly responding to emails
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, understanding their goals and incorporating feedback into SEO strategies
